Future Area Road Projects
S.R. A1A from Blue Heron Boulevard / U.S. 1 to South of Burnt Bridge
This project includes milling and resurfacing A1A on Singer Island in the City of Riviera Beach. Other project-related work includes: widening to provide paved shoulders; constructing curb and gutter; upgrading existing storm water drainage; building and reconstructing concrete sidewalks; installing decorative street lighting; and providing landscape and streetscape amenities. This is a Local Agency Program (LAP) project which will be managed by the City of Riviera Beach with oversight provided by FDOT District Four Palm Beach Operations Center.

S.R. 5 / U.S. 1 from just north of the Parker Bridge to just South of S.R. 706 /Indiantown Road
This project includes milling and resurfacing the roadway, stormwater drainage improvements, sidewalk improvements, bike lanes, new traffic signs, pavement markings and traffic signals and landscaping.

June 2011
Anticipated Completion:
To be determined. This project may be constructed in conjunction with S.R. A1A project.

$11 million

This project includes milling and resurfacing the roadway and upgrading signs and pavement markings.
