Parker Bridge Rehabilitation Project

Project Description

This 0.2-mile Bridge Rehabilitation Project is located on S.R. 5 / U.S. 1 in the Village of North Palm Beach. Construction began November 30, 2009. This project includes replacing the existing bridge grating and tender house, replacing structural steel and machinery, installing decorative lighting and new sidewalks. The project is expected to last approximately 10 months.

Maintenance of Traffic: At least one lane will remain open in each direction at all times and work will be scheduled to minimize impacts to marine traffic.

Estimated Construction Cost:

$9.5 million
